Level 1 - Puppy Kindergarten
Starts MARCH 4TH!
7:30pm in Needham
For puppies 8 weeks - 6 months
We will cover foundational skills such as sit, down, leave it, drop it, recall, and leash walking. Additionally, we will discuss housebreaking, socialization, and nipping.

Level 2- Puppy Obedience
Starts Feb 25, 2026
Ages 6 months +
Is your pup ready to take training to the next level? Join our Level 2 Basic Obedience course to strengthen skills like stay, heel, recall, and leave it while practicing cues with distractions. New skills will also be introduced.

Casey Lenson is our lead puppy class instructor. She has been running puppy classes for three years.

Yes! We love working with kids so that they too can learn how to train your dog in a way where change will be lasting.
It is important to note that puppy class is full of repetition which may be boring for children.
No ipads or device entertainment as it is distracting for everyone present.

Every Great Dog uses a balanced dog training philosophy. This means that we use positive reinforcement techniques (ie: food, toys…) to build and reward the dog for making the correct behavior choice. On the flip side of this, we also use interrupters to communicate to the dog that certain behaviors are unacceptable. Dogs, like humans, need clear feedback so they can understand what is expected of them.
Pain is never involved in our methods.
