FAQs

Do you offer group classes?

No we do not offer group classes at this time, we are currently only offering one on one training programs.

What will we cover in the consultation?

  • The first portion of our consult we will discuss the areas you would like to see improvement in your dog’s behavior. The trainer will ask questions about your dog’s history, prior training, personality and health.  We will discuss in detail the behavioral issues you are having and to answer any questions you may have.

  • The second portion of the consultation will be hands-on work. This is when we will begin to address and even start to work on how to rectify the problem areas. We always leave you with some new ideas to help you along before training starts.

How should I prepare for the consultation?

If your dog needs to work on reactivity or behaviors that frustrate you we ask that your dog is either in a crate or in another room when we first meet so we can chat. Then we will bring your dog out and get some work done.

If your dog is not highly food motivated we suggest not feeding your dog  for two hours prior to the consult.

Does the whole family need to be involved?

We encourage the whole family to get involved as much as they are able.  However we understand busy families and therefore we never require every member of your household attend training sessions or the consultation. It is important that the dogs primary caregiver be present so change can happen.

What is the difference between immersion day training and one on one programs?

The main difference is that with the immersion day training program, your trainer will come to your house, train your dog without requiring you to be present. For one on one training programs it is required that you are present for training as we will train together.

If I choose an Immersion Day Training Program will I still get the one on one session with my trainer?

Yes! During every Immersion Day Training program your trainer will come to your house at the end of the week to work with you so you can learn everything we did.

Do you offer Boarding or Board and Train programs?

No we do not offer boarding of any kind.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept checks and credit cards via Square.

How much do your training programs cost?

Consultation- 1-1.5-hours - $150

Immersion Day training programs start at $1200

One on one sessions with owner (includes four sessions)  - $500

What happens if I have to change or cancel my consultation appointment?

We require a 24 hour notice before canceling or rescheduling a consultation appointment in order to get a refund. Without this 24 hour notice your consultation fee is non refundable but you can reschedule your appointment at no additional cost at a later date.
